Terms and Conditions

The terms you agree to when you order production work from Arclight: what a custom order covers, what the timelines mean, and who owns the result.

Who we are

This site is operated by Arclight Media Productions, registered at [[REGISTERED ADDRESS]], India. You can reach us at info@arclight.co.in.

These terms cover the whole site, including the custom orders you can brief and pay for here. By placing an order you agree to them.

What a custom order is

A custom order is production work made to your brief. The package you select sets the scope: for a deck, a maximum page count and a number of revision rounds; for music, a maximum track length and a number of iterations. Those limits are stated on the order page at the time you buy and are what you are agreeing to.

If your brief turns out to be larger than the package you picked, we tell you before starting and you can either reduce the scope or move to a larger package. We do not silently do extra work and invoice for it afterwards, and we do not silently do less.

Timelines

Standard delivery is three working days for a first version. Ultrafast delivery, where purchased, is twenty four hours for a first version.

Both clocks start when we confirm your brief by email, not when you pay. That is deliberate: a brief that needs a clarifying question has not started yet, and starting the clock before we understand the work would mean quietly eating the difference out of your delivery time.

Revision rounds add time beyond the first version, and how much depends on how quickly notes come back.

What you get, and what you own

On final delivery and full payment, ownership of the delivered work transfers to you. For a deck that means the editable source file and the PDF. For music that means the master, the stems, and a full buyout with no royalties, no expiry and no territory restriction.

We keep the right to describe the work and show it in our portfolio unless you tell us not to. Tell us at order time and we will treat the project as confidential at no extra cost.

Anything we license from a third party to make the work, such as a typeface or a stock element, is licensed for your use in that deliverable and is named on delivery.

What you are responsible for

The accuracy of what you give us. We do not verify claims, figures or third-party content in a brief, and we are not responsible for the consequences of publishing something inaccurate that you supplied.

Having the right to use anything you send us. If you upload a logo, a photograph, a piece of music or a document, you confirm you are allowed to give it to us for this purpose.

Responding within a reasonable time. A project with no notes for thirty days is treated as complete, and remaining revision rounds lapse.

Use of AI in production

We use AI tools in production where they genuinely help, alongside human direction, writing and revision. What you receive is work made to your brief and reviewed by a person.

Where a deliverable would mislead about a material fact if generated, we do not generate it. For product imagery, our rule is that the product is real and the environment around it can be made.

Payment

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. We do not receive, see or store your card details at any point.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Tax may be added depending on where you are, and Dodo Payments calculates and collects it. Your bank may apply its own conversion or foreign transaction fee, which is between you and them.

Cancellations and refunds

Set out in full on the refund policy page, which forms part of these terms. The short version is that you can cancel for a full refund at any point before we start, and that once custom work has begun it cannot be returned.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue or the outcome of a pitch, campaign or launch the work was made for.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, and the date at the top changes when it does. Changes do not retroactively alter an order already placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
