Terms and conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Arclight AI Technologies LLP, India ("Arclight", "we", "us"). They cover arclight.co.in, the student portal at students.arclight.co.in, the affiliate portal at affiliates.arclight.co.in, and everything you buy or use through them.

By creating an account, paying, or using these sites, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy, our refund and cancellation policy and our shipping and delivery policy. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.

• Internships: paid, online training internships with weekly projects reviewed by our mentors, sold as plans of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
• Courses: recorded, self-paced courses with module quizzes and a certificate on completion. Some courses are free.
• Services for institutes and businesses (training, guest lectures, workshops and software development): these are agreed separately in writing, and that agreement takes priority over these terms.

An internship with Arclight is a training programme. It doesn't carry a stipend, isn't employment, and doesn't guarantee a job or placement.

You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure: anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Give us accurate details, because your name appears on certificates and letters exactly as it is on your account.

One person, one account. Accounts, course access and internship places can't be shared, resold or transferred.

Prices on our sites are in Indian rupees and exclude GST. GST at 18% is added at checkout, based on the state you choose, and shown on your receipt.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details. Your order is confirmed when Razorpay confirms the payment, and we email you a receipt.

Coupon codes are optional, can't be exchanged for cash, can't be combined unless we say so, and may have an expiry date, a usage limit or a minimum order. We may refuse or reverse a discount from a code that was misused.

We may change prices at any time. A change never affects an order you've already paid for.

Paying confirms your place in the programme. Our team then allots you to a batch and emails your start date and offer letter. Your plan's weeks are counted from your batch's start date, not from the day you paid, so you don't lose time while you wait.

Tasks unlock week by week in the student portal. Your mentor reviews each submission and may approve it or ask for changes. Shorter plans include fewer weeks of tasks than longer ones.

We may move you to another batch, change a mentor, or adjust the schedule when we need to. We'll tell you by email, and your plan keeps its full length.

Course certificates are issued when you complete every lesson and pass every quiz. Internship certificates and letters of recommendation are issued by our team based on the work you complete and its quality. A letter of recommendation is never automatic.

Every certificate and letter has a unique ID, a QR code and a public verification page. Anyone with the link can see your name, the programme and the issue date.

Submitting someone else's work, sharing quiz answers, using AI or other tools in ways your brief doesn't allow, or misrepresenting a certificate can lead to us withdrawing a certificate or letter and closing your account. A withdrawn document shows as withdrawn on its verification page.

• Don't copy, record, download, share or resell course videos or materials, except for files we offer as downloads for your own study.
• Don't try to get around access controls, scrape our sites, or interfere with how they work.
• Be respectful to mentors and other students in sessions and messages.

Our courses, briefs, videos and materials belong to Arclight or our licensors. Buying access gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning.

Work you submit stays yours. You let us store and review it, and use it, without your name, to improve our programmes. We'll ask before showing your work publicly as an example.

Affiliates apply through the affiliate portal and can only earn once we approve them.

• Commission is a percentage of the amount a student pays after any discount and before GST, at the rate shown in your dashboard. A student is credited to you if they sign up through your link within 30 days of clicking it and buy within 30 days of signing up, or if they pay with your coupon code.
• Commissions are confirmed by our team before payout. Purchases by you, your own accounts or anyone we reasonably believe isn't a genuine customer don't earn commission.
• Payouts are made to the UPI ID or bank account in your profile. Tax may be deducted at source where the law requires it, so add your PAN.
• Don't make claims we don't make: no promised jobs, stipends or placements, no fake reviews, no invented urgency, and no spam. Don't bid on our brand name in ads.
• We can suspend an affiliate or void commissions earned against these rules, and we can change rates for future sales with notice.

We work hard to keep our sites available and our programmes accurate, but we can't promise they'll be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a programme will lead to a particular result.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that can't be limited.

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its effective date, is the one that applies; we'll email you about significant changes.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint, write to info@arclight.co.in first and we'll try to resolve it. Otherwise, disputes go to the courts with jurisdiction over our registered office.
